The next time you’re having a tough time taking a lid off a jar, think of your head gasket and all the work it’s doing to stop engine leaks in your car. Here are 3 more things you should know about your car’s head gasket. 1. The head gasket is located between the engine block and cylinder heads in your car’s engine. 2. Head gasket replacement is a big and time consuming job that can be quite expensive. Routine servicing and preventative maintenance is important to help prevent major mechanical failure happening. 3. The first mycar Charger has been deployed. With severe storms battering large parts of NSW over the last seven days, the state emergency service received more than 2,250 requests for help in 24 hours. The mycar Charger was on the ground answering the call in Raymond Terrace last week, helping boost power to one of the many communities across the state that lost electricity. Nearly 100 Newcastle residents powered phones, laptops, tablets and other necessary devices for communication and connection. A community fridge was also connected, keeping food fresh for those in need. We are going to be clocking up some serious k’s in a couple of months.
